Gran Turismo has come a long way, and with GT7 on PS5, players will experience a new level of realism supported by incredible graphics with ray tracing, 3D audio with 3rd order Ambisonics, immersive feedback and adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller, unprecedented speed and much more. ![]() ![]() Gran Turismo has always been pretty cutting-edge with its technology and use of online games modes, but it also has its fair share of players who simply want to play it online and experience it in their own way. It also simply shouldn't be the case for single-player modes. The difference there is that Sport was advertised with some of those online features in mind, and as a spin-off from the main series of games, whereas Gran Turismo 7 is the next main entry in the series and hasn't had its online features pushed so much. That means the Livery Editor, Scapes, Trial Mountain, High-Speed Ring, GT Cafe, and GT Auto all require the player to be connected to the internet to experience.įor Gran Turismo fans this might not come as too much of a surprise considering Gran Turismo Sport also required a constant internet connection. It’s serious, sensible, structured, and unlike Sony’s previous first-party racing game, DriveClub it’s been. You might initially think that maybe one or two of the modes require an internet connection, but it's every single mode listed in the blog. Gran Turismo Sport is a very well-crafted online racing destination. ![]()
